The use of modern composite materials such as presswood, LDF, MDF, HDF and plywood is minimal at Ébénisterie Legato. In the construction of our furniture, solid wood and natural wood veneers are primarily used.

The furniture from Ébénisterie Legato is constructed with hardwood such as maple, cherry, oak, and birch.  Softer woods like white pine or walnut are rarely used.  The use of hardwood gives the furniture strength and durability
